Shipping Policy

Processing Guidelines 
All orders are processed pending availability and credit card verification. Orders placed Monday through Friday before 4pm Hong Kong time will begin processing on the same day. Orders placed after 4pm HK time will be processed the following day. Orders placed on Friday after 4pm Hong Kong time and through the weekend will begin processing on the following Monday. Sarah Lai Limited will contact you if the merchandise you have ordered is out of stock or if additional identification is needed for credit card verification. Most items ordered are processed within the same day. Please note that we do not process orders on Hong Kong holidays and your order will be processed on the next Hong Kong working day.

Shipping costs will be charged in HK$. International shipping charges do not include taxes or duties. Please contact your local customs office to request details of these charges.

Delivery Method

Standard Delivery will be shipped by Hong Kong Post, or S.F. Express. Express Delivery will be shipped by D.H.L. or other reliable couriers with tracking details. For Hong Kong delivery, you will receive your goods within the next 1-3 working days after payment verification. For all international delivery, you will receive your goods after payment verification within the next 2-17 working days depending on the shipment method you chose. A tracking link will be sent to you once your order has been processed, you will be able to follow it all the way to your front door.

Our carrier will deliver your parcel between 9am and 9pm. A signature may be required on receipt. If you are not around to accept your parcel, the carrier may leave it with your doorman. A calling card will be posted through your door to let you know this has been done. If the parcel cannot be left with your doorman, the carrier will take it back to the local depot, and leave you a card telling you how you can pick it up. Be sure to check that all delivery information is correct, if our carrier cannot locate your address, we may have to contact you to update this information, which may delay your delivery. Delays may also occur as a result of pending payment verifications or customs clearance. In some cases, your local customs office may require additional documents and time to have your package cleared. During these instances, the estimated delivery time may be prolonged.

International Shipping Policies

You may be subject to import duties and taxes once a shipment reaches your country. Additional customs clearance charges must be paid by you; Sarah Lai Limited has no control over these charges and cannot predict what they might be. International orders may be subject to customs clearance procedures, which may cause delays beyond original delivery estimates.

Import Taxes and Duties
Customs policies vary widely from country to country; please contact your local customs office for more information. When ordering from Sarah Lai Limited you are considered the “importer of record” and must comply with all laws and regulations of the country in which you are receiving the goods. Import taxes, duties and related customs fees may be charged once the parcel arrives at the destination country. These charges are determined by the customs office of the specific destination. Payment of these charges and taxes is the responsibility of the recipient and will not be covered by Sarah Lai Limited. For further details of charges, please contact your local customs office.

Refused Shipments

If you choose to refuse your shipments, you will be responsible for any duties, taxes and/or customs charges that are incurred on the package, and the cost of returning the package to. This amount will be deducted from your merchandise refund.
